How to Contribute an Article to AgenteNews

By becoming an AgenteNews article contributor, not only do you gain exposure for you and/or your company, but you offer credible guidance in your field of expertise.

What is AgenteNews?

AgenteNews is an online publication that reaches half a million life, health and annuity agents and advisors. It contains incisive articles that help agents grow their business and keep them up-to-date with the insurance industry.

What topics can I write about?

Anything that can help agents and advisors grow their business: tips on sales, marketing, referrals, specific product information, financial planning, Medicare, life and health insurance, annuities, LTC insurance or even technology.

Can I put backlinks in my article?

We publish articles that are educational in nature, so we do ask you do not have advertising elements in your submission. However, with each of your published articles, your bio and photograph will appear. In your bio you may include content about yourself, your company or both. You may also include your email address, phone number, and a link to your website.

Who contributes to AgenteNews?

Our contributors range from insurance agents and advisors in the field to insurance product experts, marketing experts and published authors. We search for professionals who can contribute articles that could help agents grow their business and provide information that is pertinent to the insurance and financial services industry as a whole.

How do I contribute an article?

After you’ve completed your submission, send it to editor@agentenews.com. We will then review your submission and either accept or decline it for publication.

If your submission is accepted, we will send you an email asking for your written approval to publish prior to the release of our monthly newsletter. If there were any edits during the editorial process, you will have the opportunity to review these at this time as well.

Do you accept articles that have been published elsewhere?

Yes, we do accept articles that have been published elsewhere with your consent, but the articles will still need to be reviewed by the editorial staff to make sure they are suitable for publication on AgenteNews.

What are the article guidelines?

We ask that articles be between 600 and 1200 words in length on topics that are relevant to the insurance and financial services industry. They should be cohesive and well-written.

Where will my article be published?

If your article is accepted, it will be published online at www.agentenews.com. In addition, it may also be included in our monthly newsletter, but that is not guaranteed, as we select only a few to put in the newsletter. Your articles will remain on our website under the appropriate category.

What are the deadlines?

The sooner, the better.

Can I put an ad on AgenteNews?
